So for the foreseeable future I won’t be taking personal commissions. But it was done to fit the commissioner’s requests. The mural on the window panel for example, while a cool effect, doesn’t quite fit in with the overall aesthetic of the rest of the case and would not be something I’d normally add. Just tired of doing it as a job and tired of working with people’s ideas and/or working with their old PC cases that are poorly suited for customization. This will be the last custom case Commission I take for some time, most likely ever.
There are also some progress photos as well as pics of what the case looked like before weathering and the files for the custom stencils I edited from existing content or made from scratch for the project. More pictures and close up shots can be found at this link. It’s a good looking, solid case and lends itself very well to dyi projects as it doesn’t have a bunch of stupid vents or ridges and rivets ( I added the rivets) etc. The case is a Phanteks Enthoo Evolv ATX Silver. There’s a lot I learned and a lot I’d do differently, and while I’m not 100% happy with it, I think it turned out alright. Finally finished with this project after taking FAR too long on it.
